Once every four years, the global powers-that-be in the world of oil, gas and energy come together to chart the way forward for how to power the planet.

The forum is called the World Petroleum Council.

BP wanted a brand presence that made a statement, while showcasing multiple brand stories. It also had to be highly functional and capable of handling several meetings of different types at any one time.

The entire brand experience was built around the organizing idea “Pioneers Welcome”. It reflected BP’s place as a world leader in energy, while maintaining an inviting stance towards partnership and collaboration.

Everything from the design of the stand itself to all the moving-image content worked together to present a harmonized story. Much like the BP logo itself – multiple parts coming together to create a whole greater than the sum of its parts.

Hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of deals were signed at this booth. The organizers of the event described it as the crown jewel of the WPC.
